Bama is not getting munch "Spect" this week. But if you look at every big game for Bama this year, Bama was... guess what an underdog. ( Clemson, Georgia, even LSU!)

The Florida game is Bama's chance to shut up the nay-sayers. I really can't wait for this game. I think for a lot of Bama fans the fact that Bama is playing for a shot at the National Championship will not set in until tomorrow morning when game day hits. If you think about where Bama has come from, the situation Saban and the players have put themselves in is really amazing.

I think Bama has a good chance in this one especially if Harvin is hurt. Should be a great game.

Oh by the way Tubs is out at AU. I bet Mike Leach is on the top of the list for Aub. Him or Uncle Jimbo.

I hope everyone is well. The big game is coming up and there is hardly any buzz. I pray that Bama will not overlook Auburn next week. I really think Auburn can beat us. I think we need to look back at the Tulane, Kentucky, and Ole Miss games. A play here or there could have changed Bama's season.

I think history may work against Auburn this year. Since Auburn has one the last six, I don't see how Bama could not be fired up for this one even with Florida waiting in the champ game.

Perhaps if Bama had won last year, and the streak had ended, Bama would overlook Auburn this year and be in danger of a let down.

Another exciting week of college football this week. I think Bama can beat Tennessee this week. Tennessee has a limited running game and a new quarterback. Tennessee does have good D, but I think they will get demoralized as the game goes on because of Tennessee's struggles on offense.

I think the Auburn West Virginia game will be a close contest. Both teams have had difficulty on offense. Also, Pat White may be a little woozy after his concussion a few weeks ago. Auburn better hope that they can shut down West Virginia's running game because I thing Auburn will struggle to score on offense. I......

What's that? The game was Thursday. Pat White was healthy and threw 3 touch downs. Kodi Burns got chewed out by Tubs because he's a block head. Auburn lost 34 to 17. Opps!!

Oh Well. I feel bad for the Aubs. I hope the Aubs remember to direct the anger toward the correct person, Tommy T. He's the one who decided to hire Franklin and caved when things started heading South. I hope his assistants are really close friends because he may of just thrown away his job by keeping them around.

Franklin is gone. What is Auburn going to tell all the 2 star recruits that have committed? I guess this is good news for Troy, Jack State, UAB, UNA, B'ham Southern, Samford, Miles, and Alabama State.

I really don't know if I should be happy or sad. If Franklin remained, perhaps Auburn would have continued to get worse. Okay let's be real Auburn would have got worse so Tubs made the change. Now Aub will be in disarray and probably have trouble this Saturday against Arkansas. Arkansas +19 woo Whoo! Check out my wife's blog she updated with some new stuff.

Sorry for the confusion. Many of you probably got an e-mail that said MIA.

I have been MIA the last few weeks. Nicole has actually carried the torch this week and wrote an excellent blog. Check it out! The link is on the tight side of the site.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Bama game. I think Arkansas really stinks. We played pretty well though.

Auburn had a heart breaker this week. I think Burns can be utilized in the red-zone. We'll see if he gets some time against University of Tennessee (aka University of we give up when things don't go our way).

I hope Bama can stay consistent with all the Freshman that have to play and contribute. I look to see Bama try to establish the run. Which may be hard since Georgia's rushing defense is tough. I'm hoping that JP has a break out game, but I wouldn't be willing to bet on it. If JP has a good game I think Bama has a good chance in this one.

Georgia will run and pass. I think Saban can confuse Stafford enough to get an INT or two. I think the game plan needs to be similar to the one we implemented against Clemson. We shall see Saturday.

Bama makes SI Cover Roll Tide! All the haters who picked Clemson to cover the spread can just eat it. I heard the Tulane coach just hopes his team can be competitive Saturday. I think that is pretty sad. I hope his players weren't listening. Auburn better not overlook Southern Miss this week. I see that some sports writers are picking an upset. I think we can all recall how Auburn plays sometimes in games early in the day. (Georgia, Arkansas, Miss St.) I think we can learn a lot about Auburn Saturday. Hey it's August 15th!

Wow it's already August 15th! I hope everyone enjoys the new Playa and Creeps of the week. If anyone is offended by the picture of the creeps I apologize. But it was the best picture I could find (ok not really I just thought it was funny). Don't forget to click on the picture for a better view. A shout out goes to Nicole's brother Johnny for helping us last weekend. Max and me hung out most of this week as I used a little "vakay" time. Also, check out Saban on the cover of Forbes Magazine. Howdy

I hope everyone is well. I have updated the Playa and the creep of the week. I decided to go with Saban as the Playa of the week as we gear up for football. The creeps of the week are Zerpan Over-Stock sellers because they are punks that sell junk and won't reply to messages, or answer the phone. They sent me an auto reply e-mail saying that their warehouse had a fire. I think that's a bunch of bunk. If their warehouse did have a fire I hope it burned up all the used broken Xbox 360 controllers, so they can't send anymore out to unsuspecting people.

I am taking some time off next week to play some golf and relax. I'm sure Max will be happy that he won't have to sit in the kitchen all day next week. Remember to check out Nicole's photography website. She is turning into a real pro. Check out link at the top right hand corner.

We also may need to have an intervention for Nicole if she does not stop buying new plants for our yard. (j/k!) I think the count is up to 30. Seriously though Nicole has made our yard look a lot better. Someone may put a yard of the month sign in our yard. (That is if they can pound the sign through the building materials and rocks under our yard. (HPH cheapies).

Look-a-likes

Every so often I will put a special feature for my visitors. Today's feature is look-a-likes. I will also have my Playa of the Week and the Creep of the Week every Friday. Right now I'm chillin' watching Fox News. I got the grass cut this evening so that is out of the way. Woo Whoo!

I'm really looking forward to College Football and will be writing some opinion pieces throughout the season. I hope everyone will visit and comment.

Another day another dollar. I hope everyone enjoys the pics of the fam today. Max is soooo cute isn't he! Too bad he couldn't control his bladder the other night. Nothing wakes you up like the feeling of warm pee on the bottom of your foot when you step into the den. Poor Max has been sleeping in the kitchen the past few nights. I was able to get most of the stain off the carpet. I wondered if Max had been drinking yellow paint the night before because the stain was so yellow.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this weekend because I get to cut the grass, which is always fun. Nicole does a whole lot of things around the house to help me. And sadly probably does more work around the house than I do. I can claim grass cutting, weed eating, dish washing (most of the time), Trash taking, Dog feeding and dog bathroom breaks, and vacuuming. Most of these things are man chores except for vacuuming. Nicole does a lot of plantin around the house and cleans the kitchen and dusts around the house. She does the laundry (God bless her). She does a whole lot more which I have left out to make myself look better. Most importantly she makes me look better when we go out in public. J/K.

Today's Topic: Energy Drinks

If you have not tried an energy drink in your life, please don't! These drinks have tons of caffeine and sugar. I also believe they are addicting. I find myself walking by an energy drink display and pausing and looking and I don't even realize it! I am actually drinking one right now as I write! I think eventually the FDA will have to regulate these drinks. Some younger folks may not have the self control to only drink one or to a day. I know you can probably drink two or three real fast and get a buzz. That sounds like some stupid crap I would have done in High School. Anyway, I would be careful letting your youngins drink these drinks if you are a parent. I would rather give them a drink like Boost or Vitamen Water.

Remeber energy drinks are bad mmmkay
